Miracle baby discharged from hospital after Eric Omondi's intervention

Renowned singer Peter Mwangi, popularly known as Miracle Baby, was finally discharged from the hospital on Friday evening after a bill of approximately Ksh1.4 million, which had kept him hospitalized, was settled.

The hefty bill that had resulted in the Gengetone artist's extended hospital stay was paid on Friday after comedian Eric Omondi intervened and mobilized his Sisi Kwa Sisi team to contribute funds.

Announcing the uplifting news of the singer's release from the hospital, Eric Omondi congratulated all fans who contributed and prayed for blessings.

"GOD IS HAPPY!!! MAY GOD BLESS EVERYONE that Sent ANYTHING...God sees you. Our Brother is out of Hospital after 60 days because of you. TEAM SISI KWA SISI Yaani mkisemanga ni leo lazima ikue leo🙏🙏🙏," Eric Omondi said.

The former Churchill Show comedian also took the opportunity to commend Miracle Baby's partner, Carol Katrue, for standing by him throughout his illness.

"A VERY BIG THANK YOU to Miracle baby's wife Carol Katrue, yaani huyu msichana aliamua lazima bwana yake arudi home, alikaa naye mchana na usiku," he said.

He added, "GOD BLESS YOU GUYS. @petermiraclebaby has not been working for the past 4 months you can still send something for him and the Family through his wife Carol on 0794790255 ((NAME: CAROL MBUTHIA)."

Eric accompanied his statement with a video showing Miracle Baby being discharged from the hospital, an event filled with songs and cheers celebrating the new development.

In the video, the Gengetone artist was seen smiling joyfully as he interacted with people at the hospital, cutting a cake to mark the celebration.

Dressed in a hospital gown and patient's shirt, the singer also appeared to engage in prayer as he left the hospital and got into a car that took him home.

Following the discharge of the Gengetone artist from the hospital, comedian Eric Omondi has been widely praised for using his influence to mobilize people to contribute funds.

Carol Katrue has also received much acclaim for standing by her partner and taking care of him during the past two months when he was unwell.

Miracle Baby has spent the last 60 days in the hospital, undergoing three surgeries to address intestinal issues. A total bill of over Ksh 1.5 million was raised during the entire hospitalization period.
