Classic 105 presenter Mike Mondo and his girlfriend Shiko Nguru have for the first time shared their love story.

On a late-night live session on Instagram, the loved-up pair let the public into their private life with details about how their romance blossomed and why they chose and keep choosing each other.

They said although the two had been in communication via email, they officially met during a work meeting. Shiko says she was instantly smitten by Mike's voice when he introduced himself to her.

The lovebirds noted that they immediately struck up a conversation and could not leave each other's side. After parting ways, they agreed to keep the conversation going and according to them, they could communicate on the phone for hours bringing them to the conclusion that they had fallen for each other.

Explaining why Mike Mondo chose Shiko, the radio host listed five reasons including Shiko's motherhood skills.

"She is focused, and she has a routine, she loves her babies, she is amazing and is the best kisser in the world," Mike Mondo stated.

On her part, Shiko described Mike as an answered prayer. She explained that after her breakup with her ex-lover, she made a list of 15 things she was looking for in a man. These included a certain height, a churchgoer and a man who had neck tattoos.

Shiko- a mother of three - also pointed out that she was looking for a man who already had kids and was not required to bear more for them.

However, Mike met 13 specifications on the list as he did not meet the height requirements and does not have any tattoos on his body.

"This is the man I prayed for. So why him? it's because I prayed for him," she stated.
