Silvana Wambui Kajim recently opened up about her experience of labor, sharing the humorous yet frustrating details of her husband’s unexpected reaction during the birth of their second child.

In their latest YouTube video, Wambui expressed her annoyance with her husband, Kajim, for falling asleep while she was in active labor.

Wambui revealed that her labor started around 10 a.m., and despite her husband's initial attempts to comfort her, things didn’t go as planned. “You tried to rub my back, but I told you your hands were rough,” Wambui recalled with a laugh. “I don’t know what happens when you’re on that bed, but we don’t like seeing men around during labor.”

As her labor intensified, Wambui shared her frustration about Kajim’s unexpected nap. “And then I’m in labor, and this guy has made himself comfortable, sleeping,” she said. Kajim, on the other hand, defended himself, saying, "What did you want me to do, babe? I was praying! You refused to let me rub your back."

Wambui wasn’t having it. “You were supposed to just stand there and look at me. I labored from 10, and it got intense from 11 until 5, and you were asleep!"

Kajim responded that he was using the seat to pray for her, adding, “I said, let me just rest here.” However, Wambui couldn’t shake the frustration of being in pain while her husband dozed off. “How dare you sleep in the same room I’m laboring in?” she questioned, adding that she found it unfair.

Despite her irritation, Wambui acknowledged a sweet gesture from Kajim. “He did go get the anointing oil from the car,” she said, noting that he prayed for her when she was on the verge of giving up. “I felt like fainting; it took a lot of energy out of me.”

In the end, the couple managed to find humor in the situation, with Wambui laughing off her complaints, while Kajim maintained his prayers were his way of supporting her.
