The number of Kenyan workers earning over Sh100,000 monthly has risen by 15,252, with women accounting for 14,268.
Speaking during the Morning Conversation, Maina Kageni shared his opinion on why the tables have turned.
"You(men) are irresponsible, You want to spend on women paying rent in areas you cannot afford. You want to buy alcohol for everybody. You can't ride on saying women were more empowered than men, that is like 40 years ago."
Mwalimu King'ang'i was of the opinion that women are no longer supportive of their men hence the disparity. "We were left when they stopped supporting us. What happened to growing together?" he questioned.
