Machachari actor Govi opens up about challenges he faced during his acting career
Celebrated Kenyan actor Malik Lemy has shared highlights of challenges he went through after he started acting at an early age.
He shared how he had to over come bullying adding that his mum wasn't spared from the scrutiny.
Sharing an old photo of himself, he captioned

He went on to thank legendary producer Naomi Kamau saying
"To Naomi Kamau, one of the greatest producers and writers, who took a shot at me and guided me as my first producer. I will always appreciate you. I give you all your flowers. Machachari show changed my life. Thank you.
To the people who’ve watched me grow my craft, thank you for your support always. You deserve all good things."
Govi hinted that at some point he was told he wasn't good enough for the trade (acting)
"It wasn’t easy, all the trolling, working day and night, all the bullying in schools, fame, being told you’re not good enough, typecasting but here we are! Ni GodNever let anyone tell you that you cannot do it. You can!"
In conclusion, he eulogized Charles Ouda who he worked with on Makutano Junction.

Govi is the son of celebrated actress Karen (Suzanne Njoki) who features as the Governor's wife on the vernacular show Ithaga Riene.
She has also been her son's manager over the years.
