All Eric Omondi did was give up his shoes and he got the girl if Lynn Njihia's recent confession is anything to go by.

The mother of one said the comedian gave her his shoes and walked barefoot because her shoes were hurting her on their very first encounter.

Speaking to local bloggers, Lynn revealed that Omondi's simple act of kindness during a project they were working on together was what won her heart.

"We met at a project we were shooting, he hit on me first. Lakini kitu ilifanya nimpende, nilikua na viatu zilikua zinanifinya so akanipea zake, akatembea mguu tupu," Lynne recounted.

Lynne also spoke about the qualities she believes are important in a partner.

"I believe women should look for responsible and hardworking men, si lazima akue amefika, atafika tu, as long as unamsupport na anajikakamua," she said.

Age is just a number

Opening up about their significant 19-year age difference, Lynn brushed off concerns, embracing the idea that "love is love".

She expressed her belief that love transcends barriers such as age, gender, and limits.

"I believe that love is love, haina limit, haina gender, age, love is love," Lynn asserted.

"If you love someone, date you. It doesn't mean it won't work out if there is an age gap. I can say Eric and I are more of friends, more of besties, hiyo ndio imefanya tufike tuu saa hii. We are equal, supporting each other," she said.

During a past Q&A on her YouTube channel, the mother of one said that she was the only baby mama that Eric Omondi has.

Lynn responded with a chuckle, "No, I don't. He doesn't even know, he doesn't. I'm the only one. Mimi ndio niko."

Asked whether there was the possibility of expanding their family, Lynn revealed that, at present, they have no immediate plans for another child.

"For now, mother of one, daddy of one PERIOD," Lynn declared.

Eric, Lynn welcome baby

The celebrity couple welcomed their child Kayla on August 9, 2023.

In 2022, the couple went through a difficult time as they experienced the loss of their first baby due to a miscarriage.

Eric Omondi shared an emotional video on Instagram capturing the pain and sorrow they endured during that trying period.

Omondi and Lynne's relationship has been a public affair, with the couple openly expressing their love and commitment to each other on social media.

In February 2023, they took their love to the next level, getting engaged just months after confirming their relationship.
