List of celebrities who said 'no' to the finance bill for 2024

The 2024/2025 finance bill has been the talk of the town for the last fortnight. 

Most citizens who have read or over-heard about the taxes that the government is about to overstretch them tax-wise.

In public participation, most taxpayers have come out publicly to influence other Kenyans to oppose the bill in a bid to reduce the already increased taxes.

The battle has seen its way into the social media platforms where even Kenyan celebrities have started  #rejectfinancebill2024.

Here are the celebrities who have publicly opposed the Finance Bill 2024.

Blessed Njugush

The comedian who has been using his socials for comedy skits, numerous times has been satirical in how he criticizes the government. 

The funny man has been seen in an interview with Citizen TV explaining how the bill will harden the already awful economy challenging the MPs to reject the Finance Bill.

 Betty  Kyallo

The renowned journalist who has been hitting the headlines over her relationships has been seen wooing to the fact that last year's Finance Bill already caused most companies to shut down due to heavy taxation.

She boldly rejected the bill commenting that the government should support its people and not torment them.

Khalif Kairo

The famous entrepreneur and pilot who has been seen flying frequently around the world came out to reject the bill.

"Anyway, they pass that bill as it is. I have officially given up on this country. Nothing will change if I leave, Lakini I wanna start a family in a system that actually values tax payers. Wacha tukujange holiday Kenia." Kairo stated.
