Stevo Simple Boy has disclosed that he broke up with Grace Atieno after she got pregnant for another man behind his back.

The rapper noted that he had his own suspicions but ultimately got the confirmation that Grace's baby was not his moments after she gave birth.

Simple Boy said that Grace's family member opted to just tell him the truth about the baby's paternity when he called to follow up on the baby's birth.

"Tulikua sawa hapo mbelini tulikua tunaishi pamoja so wakati alikua ameenda kujifungua mmoja wa family yake akanipigia simu akasema 'anyewe Stevo wacha tukuweke wazi na usikasirike'. Akasema mtoto si wangu," the rapper said while speaking during an interview with YouTuber Trudy Kitui.

The controversial rapper added that he had doubts about siring Grace's baby long before she even gave birth.

He divulged that when his ex-wife went to the hospital for a pregnancy test but didn't tell him the results - something that aroused his curiosity.

Simple Boy additionally claimed that the Holy Spirit told him the baby was not his.

"Alienda siptali akapima akapata ako na ujauzito lakini hakuniambia ni yangu si ndo mi hapo nkajijazia. Roho ya Mungu ilikua imenionga hapo ikasema huyu mtoto si wako," he said.

Asked how the Holy Spirit told him that Grace's baby was not his, Simple Boy opined that he just had the feeling deep in him that his seed wasn't responsible for the pregnancy.

"Kuna ile unahisi kwamba huyu si wangu," he remarked.

The rapper noted that he continued to stay with Grace even though he was convinced the baby she was carrying was not his.

He added that they only went their separate ways after his ex-wife gave birth and her family confirmed to him that the baby was not his.

"Sasa vile mimi nko na huruma nko na neema zangu nkasema ndio ulikosea lakini wacha tuishi pamoja.

So wakati wa kuenda kujifungua ndo mambo ikabadilika."

Stevo stated that he never busted Grace Atieno cheating on him during the time they were together, only to be surprised by the pregnancy which he was not responsible for.

"Sikumpata akicheat ata akienda kule kwao Taita tulikua tunacommunicate. Sasa mimi sijui vile mambo ikaja ikabadilika," he said.

The rapper additionally expressed fear of dating again, regretting that most women only want him because of fame and money but not to truly love him as a person.

"Sahi madem wako wengi sana, wengi wanataka kua na Stevo Simple Boy lakini tatizo ni yule mkweli atapatikana? Wengi wao wanataka umaarufu na hela lakini sasa kupenda ule Stevo Simple Boy ya ukweli ndo hakuna," he lamented.

Reports of Grace being pregnant for another man first emerged online in December 2023 and Stevo Simple Boy did not confirm or deny if the news was true or false at the time.

The rapper only shared a cryptic message amid breakup rumours with his wife.

Stevo Simple Boy introduced Grace Atieno as his wife during the burial of his father in January 2023.

He publicly stated that Grace was his better half when he was handed the mic to address the mourners during his father's burial in Homa Bay County.
