Kenyan dancehall musician KRG The Don has offered to help with the somber festivities in the wake of TikTok sensation Brian Chira’s untimely death.
In an interview with a local blog, KRG said that they will help move Chira’s remains from City Mortuary to Montezuma.
KRG conveyed his condolences to Chira’s friends and recognized the uncertainty they could be experiencing following his demise.
“I know it is a hard time and people are going through a lot, and I know that his friends are really confused not knowing where to start from,” he shared.
KRG reiterated his commitment to lend a helping hand during this difficult period noting the financial strain the family might be facing.
The last person who was with Chira was a motorist. He spoke about Chira’s last words.
“Brian akasema nisaidie. Masoldier wakasema kama unamjua unaweza ukamsaidia.”
“I was going in a different direction, so I wanted to leave him there but the way he was drunk, akasema naomba unisongee, nikamsongea kwa bike akaingia nyuma yangu. Tukaenda tukafika Gacharage Junction, so nilikuwa nataka ku divert niende nyumbani.
“Brian alikuwa anaenda kwa different direction, so nilikuwa nataka kumwacha hapo lakini venye alikuwa mlevi tena akasema naomba mnisongeshe mnifikishe mahali fulani.”
“So after amesonga tukafika mahali alituambia akashuka tu pikipiki and then kumuitisha fare akaanza tu kukimbia. Before asonge two steps mbele ndio gari ilitokea ikampiga.”
Chira’s case is now being investigated by the DCI
