Jamaican dancehall star Konshens who enjoys a massive fan following in Kenya recently had an incredible encounter with a die-hard fan that left him fighting back tears.
In a clip shared on Instagram, the artiste was captured embracing the woman -who has his name tattooed on her chest- with a long warm hug while rubbing on her back.
The Gal A Bubble crooner said he was impressed by the fan's genuine love for him and his music.
"Brought me to tears, I froze up and couldn’t let her go in the club and she wouldn’t let me go either in this packed hot club in Nairobi ??. It's not because she tatted my name, it's because she wasn’t flirting, wasn’t trying to hang out all she wanted was to express her love for me and my music ❤️❤️❤️," he wrote.
Adding:
"I've seen my name on fans, my lyrics, I’ve heard stories of what my music did or meant to people, I’ve had people come up to me and say I changed their lives and their family’s lives by doing some simple thing that I didn’t think twice about and that I won't even remember and it is the most gratifying feeling in this job. I do not deserve my fans?. Love you all so much and you all did so much for me and mine. Thank you all."
