Nominated senator Karen Nyamu has shut down claims that she is always monitoring her baby daddy, Samidoh, and following him everywhere he goes.
The mother of three recently enjoyed a vacation in Australia with the mugithi singer and at some point, joined him on stage as he serenaded her.
In an interview on Radio 47, Nyamu admitted that she had planned to take some time off for rest, which coincided with her man travelling to Australia.
"Mzee aikuwa Europe for one month, mimi sikuwa, alikuwa China, mimi sikuwa. Tena kuna shida gani, nimekosea nani? Tena hio ni trip ambayo tulipanga kitambo. It's not kwa sababu yuko huko namfuata. No. (He was in Europe for a month and in China and I was not there. Also, where is the problem? Who have I wronged? That was a trip we planned a long time ago, not me following him)," she said.
The politician also praised Samidoh and listed the many things that made her fall madly in love with him.
"Tena ni baba watoto wangu, he is a big artiste in this country, why not be his number one fun and supporter. Anaweza. He is talented and ana roho nzuri na mkarimu sana. Nikawezwa tu. Nimefika," (He is my kids' dad, He is great and has a kind and clean heart. I arrived), she added.
Nyamu also admitted that she is working on how to bring Edday Nderitu and Samidoh back together, despite her walking out of her marriage and relocating to the US.
She admitted that their polygamous arrangement was not working because they were all public figures and solving issues publicly.
The politician said she has not lost hope that one day, the three of them will co-exist peacefully and accept each other.
