Jose Chameleone Rushed to Hospital Again

Jose Chameleone Rushed to Hospital Again

Ugandan legendary musician Jose Chameleone, who is currently in the US, has been rushed to hospital yet again, weeks after he was discharged.

A video shared by his best friend Juliet Zawedde, shows the singer being lifted up from the couch to a wheelchair and then to the ambulance.

Ms Zawedde, a Ugandan musician and businesswoman then wrote about the situation at hand:

"My Bestie is not feeling well today, he has been taken to the hospital…. I pray for you my dear friend, Chameleone I know you’re currently unwell. May the Lord grant you a healing touch and restore your health and strength. Comfort you in your pain and give you the courage to face this challenge. May you know that you’re loved and supported during this time."

Five days ago, the 'Kipepeo' singer shared a video during a review day of his health at the hospital. He also highlighted he was doing a lot of self-love lately.

"Thank you for your prayers always.

We will bounce back like Ninja

Today was my review day and I guarantee to you all God is in full control.

Thank you for the positive energy towards my healing and health. I am going better and greater every other day.

Self-love, self-care, self-motivation and loving people around me - Juliet Zawedde - to the moon and back ❤️

This relationship between me and myself is amazing."

Chameleone had been hospitalized in Uganda late last year before being transferred to the US for further treatment.

At the time, he updated his fans about his health

This festive season marks a first for me - spending it away from the stage and away from all of you, my beloved fans. Unfortunately, my hospitalization has disrupted our annual tradition of celebrating together through music.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the promoters who have consistently believed in me and to the fans who have always shown up to support me. Unfortunately, I’ll be taking a temporary break from performing until I’ve made a full recovery.

I’m deeply thankful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and well-wishes from my fans, friends, and family during my hospital stay. I also appreciate the exceptional care I received from Nakasero Hospital.

A special thank you to my dear friend Juliet Zawedde, who selflessly sacrificed her holiday to accompany me to the United States for further treatment.

To everyone who has stood by me, I thank you. I will return stronger and better, God willing.

For God and my country.
