Businessman Kennedy Rapudo recently addressed his wife Amber Ray’s controversial past, attributing part of the blame to her ex-husband, Jimal Rohosafi. Rapudo criticized Jimal’s failure to take charge of his household during the widely publicized conflict involving his two wives at the time, Amber Ray and Amira.

Rapudo Holds Jimal Responsible for Past Drama

Amber Ray’s marriage to Jimal was fraught with social media disputes, particularly with his first wife, Amira. At the height of the turmoil, Amber Ray faced accusations of witchcraft.

When asked if Amber’s past controversies affected him, Rapudo dismissed the negativity, emphasizing that he chooses what to believe based on his education and exposure.

“One thing about me, when you are well-educated and exposed, you can always pick what to believe and what not to believe.”

He asserted that Amber Ray was simply in the wrong company and blamed Jimal for failing to lead his household effectively.

“Amber Ray is a good lady… She was just in a bad place, but that’s not who she is. It’s because of the company she was in.”

Rapudo further argued that the chaos could have been avoided if Jimal had exercised leadership in managing the situation.

“Whatever happened at that time, I can’t blame Amira or Amber Ray. There was a man involved. If you are a man, you are entrusted to be a leader. Whether you are a Muslim or not, you are allowed to marry four or even ten wives, but you must take responsibility. If there is a problem, you bring your house in order.”

Amber Ray Found Stability with the Right Partner

Rapudo believes Amber Ray’s transformation proves that finding the right partner makes all the difference. He credited himself for bringing stability into her life.

“Before I met Amber Ray, there was always drama surrounding her, right? But do you see that anymore? She was constantly being trolled for the wrong reasons. What matters is finding the right person. People should be very selective about who they choose to settle down with.”

He hinted that the witchcraft allegations against Amber Ray were based on a distorted narrative and suggested that she might one day reveal the full story.

“Amber Ray is not involved in witchcraft. That whole incident was very ugly. I hope that one day she will be comfortable enough to tell the truth. She has never shared her side of the story, including where that video came from. As far as I know her, she is very religious.”

Jimal’s Response

Shortly after Rapudo’s remarks, Jimal seemingly reacted with a subtle Instagram post featuring a meme of former Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta. The caption read:

“Me advising my bro after ameachwa (after being left).”

In the video, Kenyatta’s voiceover says:

“There are some people who don’t seem to get it. Unaona kama ni mali yako (You think it belongs to you). Sio yako, ni ya uma (It’s public property). And mali ya uma (public property), you are just a caretaker.”

Though Jimal did not directly mention Rapudo, many interpreted the post as a veiled response to his comments.

Jimal Claps Back

Jimal later addressed Rapudo more directly, taking a jab at him through another Instagram post.

“You think you’re a better man? Better men don’t waste time talking about other men. It just shows how idle you are. Honestly, it’s a waste of my time responding to a grifter like you. Check my records—they speak for themselves.”

Jimal and Amber Ray’s Past

Jimal is currently married to Wangari Thiong’o, with whom he shares a daughter. His past relationship with Amber Ray was often under public scrutiny, particularly due to the ongoing conflict with Amira. Amber Ray previously revealed that she was once pregnant with Jimal’s child but suffered a miscarriage.

Meanwhile, Amira eventually separated from Jimal, bringing an end to their tumultuous relationship.
