A sombre mood engulfed the Lee Funeral Home early Friday, June 14, as the body of the late Njambi Koikai was loaded onto a hearse.
Family and friends gathered at the Funeral Home to view the body before leaving for the final destination.
She will be laid to rest at the Lang'ata Cemetry later this afternoon.
The hearse carrying the body of the late Reggae M C was accompanied by police. MCs of the day Mbusii and Larry Asego stood by ready for their duties.
The late Fyah Mummah died on June 3 while admitted to a local hospital.
In her eulogy, Njambi has been celebrated as a woman who carried a legacy of strength and love.
On May 30, Njambi was hospitalized after falling ill, according to details made public by her representatives.
Njambi had been diagnosed with Endometriosis, a condition that saw her undergo multiple surgeries.
Her last message before her death was to appeal to the Government to address challenges facing such medical conditions.
Here is the program for the day:
Between 10 and 12 pm Arrival at Langata Cemetry where a word of prayer, opening hymn, and first scripture reading will be heard. Family photographs will be taken.
Thereafter a procession to the burial site where rites and recitals will be done. A hymn and benediction from Nairobi Chapel officials will be conducted.
The festival is expected to conclude at 1 pm with a vote of thanks and more announcements.
Rest in Peace Fyah Mummah from the Mpasho family.
