How to use ‘mind control’ to get the Christmas presents you want

Gift giving forms the major part of celebrating Christmas. Other than attending a church service if you are the religious type, many people often look forward to congregating, having hearty meals and exchanging gifts. An entire industry exists around this holiday.

And so begins the guess work on which gifts to give and get in return. You probably know what kind of gifts to give because you are intuitive or have a recollection of your gift recipient mentioning something about it back in April.

You’re good to go, but will they get you good gifts that you will actually use and not dump in the back of the closet?

Here’s how you can use ‘mind control’ to get people to get you the gifts you actually want and will have significant meaning or use to you:

  1. You can use the devices of those from whom you are hoping to get gifts from. Search up the gifts you want on their phones and laptops, and eventually, the search engine you use- such as Google- will continue directing targeted advertisements towards them anytime they are online on any website. This will keep them reminded that you searched for that item and it would make them consider it a good Christmas gift for you long after you used their devices.
  2. On a day where you and a friend planned to just hang out, you can use this opportunity to low key alert them to a specific gift you desire. On the way to the spa in the mall, divert into a jewelry shop to ‘ask’ if a certain piece is available and if they have any pay options so that you can purchase it in a month or two. If your friend is the intuitive type, they will pick up on this and plan to gift it to you for Christmas. Don’t make it obvious to your friend that you are window shopping with the intention of trying to get a gift out of them.
  3. We spend so much time online. If you are the overly social type, it would be easier to receive many gifts if you create a wish list on popular websites and share them on your platforms as a ‘social experiment’- you know, those chain messages of “If you love me, if you follow me, let me see who will get me what on this list”- this is basically using your popularity to socially engineer your followers into doing certain actions.
  4. You can spend months prior showing active interest in certain themes or objects, and involving your family and friends in them so that when it comes to choosing a gift for you, it would be a no brainer for them to pick something that aligns with your interests.

Do you have any other ideas on how you can get people to gift you certain gifts without having to tell them what gifts you want?
