Kenyans really do have a way of treating celebs they are besmirched with, something that Rwandan gospel singer Israel Mbonyi found out this past weekend.
Israel was deeply moved by the overwhelming love and support he received from Kenya.
The Nitaamini singer graced the stage this past weekend at the Africa Worship Experience held at the Ulinzi Sports Complex. The event drew thousands of worshippers, including notable religious and political figures.
Mbonyi’s arrival was nothing short of a hero’s welcome, complete with a police escort. His humble and approachable demeanor shone through during a press conference and media interviews, endearing him to even more admirers.
A video from the worship session captured the powerful moment when Kenyans sang along to his hit song Nina Siri, solidifying his growing fan base in the country.
In a heartfelt social media post, Mbonyi expressed his gratitude, saying: "Kenya, your love is so authentic. How do I apply to be one of you?"
