Harmonize does a bad job of denying relationship with Laika as he eyes Nwagi
Harmonize, who was performing at the BellObafest held Sunday, October 23 at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo, Kampala -- said if he were to pick a wife from Uganda, it would be Winnie Nwagi.
The confession comes days after rumours swirled that the crooner was dating another Ugandan songbird Laika Music.
They both denied dating each other despite many obvious signs. While on her recent trip to Tanzania, Laika stayed at his apartment, they shared videos in compromising positions and even inked matching tattoos.
Harmonize, real name Rajab Abdul Kahali, is one of Tanzania's highly decorated artistes. He has worked on music projects with some of the biggest names on the continent, including Burna Boy, Mr. Eazi, Yemi Alade and Diamond Platnumz who previously signed him under his record label WCB Wasafi.
Meanwhile, by picking Winnie Nwagi, Harmonize sort of made it hard for people to believe that he wasn't involved with Laika, considering both songstresses share similar physical attributes.
Laika, whose birth name is Laika Umuhoza, is a Ugandan of Rwandan descent. She was born in Kanungu district in the Western region of Uganda but grew up in Munyonyo, Kampala.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and she completed her university education in the U.S. She graduated in 2019 and decided to become a singer.
Nwagi, who is signed to Swangz Avenue, was scouted by Benon Mugumbya while she competed in Coca-Cola Rated Next where he was a judge.
The record label took her on and she dropped Embela in 2016, followed by Gwenonya.
