Habida shares details about her early days in the music industry

Kenyan musician and actress Habida Moloney has shared some details about her early days in the music industry.

While engaging her X media fans, the 'Sunshine' hitmaker revealed that Kenyan music producer and songwriter R Kay Mwana Abuja shielded her from casanovas also known as 'team mafisi' within the music industry.

She also said she will be talking about meeting fellow musician Cannibal and creating their collabo 'Reason'.

"Ntawepee story vile R kay Mwana Abuja always protected me from mafisi in the industry and how we met with Cannibal and created the song reason,,,just let me know which story from back then ntawapee," Habida stated.

Posting a snippet of the 12-year-old song on her X media, Habida disclosed that during the production of the hit song 'Sunshine' with Nameless, who was newly wedded at the time was not allowed to get close to her.

She revealed that during the making of the video of the song, they had to keep their distance.

"This is another 12 yrs ago; on this song, I never shrubbed, I said 'Sunshine'not 'Sunsine'. At that time, Nameless was newly wedded; he was not allowed to get close to me. We shot tuki observe distance," she revealed.

Habida has in the past been open about experiencing sexual abuse.

In a past interview, Habida revealed that she was raped by a pervert who had been stalking her for a long time.

The singer, who was a virgin at the time, disclosed that she happened to have gotten drunk one day. The guy offered to escort her home, but she never made it there.

“One of them would tell me, I will get you one day. I was a virgin then. So one day, I got a little bit too drunk and the story is, he was taking me home. I never got home that night,” she said.
