Guardian Angel addresses claims of infidelity

In a candid December 15 interview with Plug TV, renowned Kenyan musician Guardian dismissed rumours of infidelity and having a secret love child, describing them as baseless and irrelevant.
The singer expressed unwavering love for his wife, Esther Musila, stressing the strength of their bond.
“I don’t pay attention to such things. Those are just silly claims. I don’t have time for them. Such stories fade quickly, and now they’re already forgotten. So who looks foolish now? Those people are left stranded, searching for their next topic,” he stated confidently.
The musician who was recently recognized as one of Kenya’s most-streamed artists, shared his contentment as a married man;
“I love my wife so much. The way I love her, I don’t think anyone could give me vanilla or strawberry vibes. With my wife, it’s the whole package. She respects me, loves me deeply, supports me fully. I have peace, money, and everything a man could ask for. I’m very content,” he said.
The Funga Mdomo hitmaker further revealed that he rarely responds to baseless accusations unless absolutely necessary. Even in such cases, he prefers to seek divine intervention first.
“If I’m pushed to the wall, I will defend myself thoroughly. I leave it to God first, but if it gets out of hand, I will act, and it will be serious. If needed, I’ll confront the person directly and say, ‘What’s the issue? Let’s discuss this openly.’”
The couple’s relationship has faced public scrutiny due to their age difference. The musician had previously stated that while he would welcome having a child with the mom of 3, he was at peace with the possibility that it may not happen.
In November 2024, Esther herself addressed rumours that her husband had secretly married a second wife and fathered a child.
The speculation began after a TikTok video of the couple dancing to Guardian Angel’s new song, Mimi Ndiye Yule, went viral. Dressed in matching pantsuits, the couple exuded joy but some commenters stirred up rumours.
Musila responded with humour, saying, “It’s now you’re finding out? You will come so that we carry the baby.”
In another video where she danced solo, a fan asked, “Naskia umeletewa second wife” (I hear you’ve been given a second wife). Esther laughed it off, replying, “Naskia pia” (I’ve also heard).
Her confident lighthearted responses showed her refusal to be drawn into negativity.
