Tanzanian Songstress Christina Shusho has now assured her fans that she will perform in Kenya.
Through her X account, the songstress said she has decided to have a concert for her Kenyan fans due to the increased demand.
She further said that her team was coordinating with Mwalimu Churchill (Daniel Ndambuki) for the organization of the concert.
"Due to increasing demands for a concert in Kenya, my team and I are working with Mwalimu Churchill to have a concert on December 31, 2023.. ( Kingereza Kimeisha)," the songstress said.
After the message, she went ahead to translate the information to Kiswahili.
She then put it on her X account immediately after the first announcement which was in English.
"Kutokana na maombi ya wengi, tumeyafanyia nyinyi ni watu wangu wa muhimu. Expect an overnight concert on December 31. Mwalimu Churchill is working on it. See you soon 254," she said.
Music fans have caused a buzz over her worship songs on X.
Other fans have been alleging the gospel artists lack originality in her song lyrics as she gets them from the bible.
However, many were captivated by how she incorporates scriptures into her songs, compared to other gospel musicians.
Christina Shusho reacted to the Kenyans online discussing her gospel songs.
@kimrobstan...I am surprised you guys are surprised. This is how gospel music is supposed to be. Sing from the scriptures. (Bible)
@SpaxGenius...Shida ni hamjui bibilia so it looks strange to you all
@fanconsul...Lol, you guys are funny. The majority of gospel songs are picked from the Bible word for word. Where have you been living, Bermuda Triangle?
@MwawanaMuema...She did the same with "Bwana Umenichunguza". Straight from Psalm 139
@mkoloni_...We need a concert in Kenya we cry our hearts out
@azdaknick......"Utukumbuke eeh" ,ilove her songs it blessed me alot .
She responded to one man @iconic_gravity who wrote, "I want to convey sincere gratitude to all Christina Shusho fanatics for making the right choice. Not only has she won our hearts but also our souls. I cannot take for granted the dedication, participation & support given to management."
The songwriter responded, "Ahsanteni sana I don't take it for Granted."
