Popular Mugithi DJ Dickson Ndegwa, widely known as DJ Dibul, and his partner, actress Dorea Chege, are once again at the centre of an online scandal following new cheating allegations.

The two, long admired as one of Kenya’s rising celebrity couples, are now battling whispers of infidelity that have clouded their love story.

Cheating Allegations Surface

The drama began after a popular blogger invited his followers to share anonymous scoops about celebrities during an online Q&A.

Dibul’s name quickly came up, with multiple followers alleging affairs outside his engagement to Dorea.

One anonymous user claimed to have been romantically involved with him in the past and hinted at rekindling the fling, while another praised his alleged prowess.

Others accused him of juggling several women while presenting a picture-perfect relationship online.

“Please ask for evidence about DJ Dibul. Fear online relationships and marriages; they are not as perfect,” one message read. Another wrote: “Mimi nadai session ingine, anitafute” (I want another session; he should find me).

DJ Dibul Responds

The speculation prompted a swift response from the entertainer. He shared photos of himself with Dorea and their daughter, declaring unity in the face of criticism.

“Family first, haters last. Through every trial, our love remains strong. Na waambiwe hatuachani,” he wrote, adding: “I will do anything to protect my family.”

Dorea, for her part, has not publicly commented on this latest scandal.

Online Reactions

The post drew divided reactions. Some fans flooded the comment section with prayers and encouragement, while others remained unconvinced.

“Hope Naomi she is a good girl sio vile tunaona kwa kipindi, Mungu ailinde familia yenu,” one supporter wrote. Another commented: “Mungu anaanda meza mbele ya maadui zetu pia ni maana sana.”

Others called for the couple to revive their once-popular YouTube channel, where they had shared candid glimpses of their lives.

A Familiar Pattern

This is not the first time Dibul and Dorea have faced such accusations. Back in May, he was accused of seeing multiple women—allegedly in his car and rented Airbnbs—shortly after the birth of their daughter.

At the time, Dorea brushed off the claims, saying: “I’m not the one who cheated, so I have nothing to say.”

Later, she publicly reaffirmed her loyalty. “There is nobody in this world who will ever come between us. It’s us against the world until the wheels fall off,” she said, dismissing one alleged mistress as “obsessed” and untruthful.

Love in the Spotlight

Despite the turbulence, the Maria actress admits that being in love with another entertainer comes with challenges.

“He’s a DJ and I’m an actress. We’re constantly around people of the opposite sex. So, we agreed not to touch each other’s phones, and we trust each other within our creative spaces,” she explained.

She added that fame has robbed them of normalcy: “We can’t even do things like board a matatu. I haven’t used one in ten years.”

For now, the couple who has one child together continue to project resilience, balancing public displays of affection with firm declarations of loyalty.
