The debate on tampons has been on people's lips.
The big question is what is the difference between a tampon and a pad?
Tampons are little plugs made of cotton that fit inside your vagina and soak up menstrual blood.
Pads on the other hand are placed on the panty.
Below are some of the advantages and disadvantages of both
Tampons are small and portable, You can swim in them, but they are not easily visible.
The risks include
- Vaginal irritation
- High risk of toxic shock syndrome (TTS):
The advantages of pads is that they are more absorbent, are easy to use, they have smaller risks of causing toxic shock syndrome.
