"Diamond's kids are also my kids" Zuchu

Tanzanian singer Zuchu has addressed claims regarding her stance on having children with her on-and-off boyfriend, Diamond Platnumz.

The “Sukari” hitmaker, whose relationship with Diamond has seen its share of highs and lows, most recently experienced a breakup on November 12.

Despite their tumultuous romance, many have lauded the 29-year-old for choosing not to rush into motherhood without securing a more solid commitment from Diamond, who is already a father of four.

Zuchu herself has previously questioned Diamond’s intentions, asking him when he plans to marry her or if he’s simply wasting her time.

During a recent interview, Zuchu opened up about her current perspective on motherhood. “I already have kids, and I usually come here with them. I have kids with Naseeb, and his kids are mine, so I am already a mum,” she said, referring to Diamond by his real name, Naseeb Abdul Juma.

“Giving birth is not the only way to become a mum. You can be a mum by raising others or by being an aunt to your siblings' kids. I have been blessed to be a mum to my partner's kids. That is enough for me for now.”

In the past, Zuchu has frequently been spotted bonding with Diamond’s children, who he shares with Zari Hassan and Kenyan singer Tanasha Donna.

Their co-parenting dynamic has drawn praise from fans, who admire how the blended family navigates their relationships.

Her nurturing side was evident in a December 2023 viral video, where Zuchu was seen comforting Princess Tiffah, Diamond's daughter with South African socialite Zari Hassan.

The family had been enjoying a boat ride when Tiffah became distressed. In the video, Zuchu lovingly reassured her.

“Twende mum. You know it’s fun—it’s just like a yacht... You are not going to drown. Are you going to try and take a nap? What do you want to eat? Don’t cry,” Zuchu said as she helped calm the little girl, covered her with a blanket, and ensured she felt safe.
