Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz has opened up about meeting P Diddy in the US about two years ago. Speaking to journalists at a recent press conference, Diamond said he met the star at his studios in the US.

He was accompanied by Alicia Keys husband Swiss Beatz, who is also a music producer.

"In one of my visits in the US, I was with Swiss Beatz and Babu Tale, he welcomed us to his studio, we ate, there was his family, his kids and some of his new artistes at the time," said Diamond

Adding "He advised us on things to do with music."

"I respect him as a music guru who knows a lot of things in the industry, I learnt a lot."

Asked about what he things about the troubles that follow Diddy, Diamond said;

"I can't judge him, the authority will decide, I will wait and watch just like other people."

Asked how he is able to evade such troubles, he said "My close people know that my music life, my social media life and my private life are very different things. "

He gets mad when he is corrected

"I am the one who is most spoken about a lot in this country (Tanzania) and I don't go around responding to people. I am strong, just write whatever you want, I will nor respond to you."

"If I see you've gone overboard, thats when I will write you a cease and desist letter. I don't even ask for money because some people speak in a way that they can be jailed for life."
