Diamond Platnumz has responded to social media users who slammed him for asking the bodyguard to go after his green cap after it was stolen at an event in Dodoma last year.
Diamond shut down claims of having witchcraft on the cap.
"It is not witchcraft-infused or anything of the sort. It's not that expensive as well," he said.
He added that the reason he went after the cap was because of the struggles he went through to get that type of cap.
"I was in South Africa and I really looked for a cap that was closed in the back, but most of them had an opening. I went through an entire mall and only found one cap, which is this one and bought it. And this was a perfect time," he explained
Adding, "When I went to Dodoma, it was stolen, how do I let it go?"
Diamond said this at a press conference held on Thursday in Dar Es Salaam. He was rocking the cap, which he paired with a green sweat-suit and white sneakers.
