Fans have been questioning whether the two have rekindled their romance following a noticeable shift in their interactions.

In a recent episode on her YouTube channel, Dem responded to fan-submitted questions, including one inquiring about the status of her relationship with Obinna.

Rather than providing a direct answer, she playfully dodged the question, challenging why people assumed they had separated in the first place.

The interviewer pointed out that since the beginning of the year, that Dem and Obinna had not collaborated as frequently as they did in 2024.

Observers had also noted a decline in their chemistry, fuelling speculation about a possible fallout, although neither had publicly addressed it. However, Dem wa Facebook seemed unbothered by the rumours, stating:

“People love to speculate, saying he is not my type or claiming he is my baby daddy. But let me ask, have we ever come online to announce a breakup? Just because we are not posting together does not mean we are no longer involved. We are making plans, and people should stay out of our business.”

She also teased that she would reveal more about Obinna in her next YouTube episode, leaving fans eager for further details.

Her comments came just days after she and Obinna were seen engaging in public displays of affection at a comedy event.

In viral social media footage, Dem wa Facebook was carried onto the stage by Obinna’s bodyguard before being handed over to the comedian himself.

Obinna then danced while carrying her in his arms. The moment appeared slightly awkward, with Dem wa Facebook looking shy and covering her face.

When he eventually put her down, Obinna jokingly remarked that “his person had arrived,” taking a playful dig at other celebrities who had attended the event with their partners.

Obinna Addresses Show Rebranding Without Dem Wa Facebook's Content

Earlier this month, Obinna opened up about changes to his weekly show following his split with Dem wa Facebook.

In the interview, he explained that he had chosen to rebrand the show after parting ways with her, aiming to shift the content direction and avoid unnecessary comparisons between his former co-host and his new collaborator, Kartelo.

“We wanted to create a level playing field so that people would not compare the two,” Obinna stated. He clarified that while the new format shares similarities with the previous one, it is designed to appeal to a different audience.

To mark this new phase, Obinna decided to remove all past content featuring Dem wa Facebook. While some speculated that this was due to bad blood, he dismissed the claims, explaining that fans had started demanding that he compensate Dem wa Facebook for the old videos, despite not knowing the terms of their agreement.

“The videos were not removed due to any personal issues. It was simply to prevent unnecessary expectations from fans,” he explained.
