American artists DDG and Halle Bailey are going separate ways, but they have confirmed that they will still remain best friends.

DDG broke the news via his Instagram stories, confirming their split saying that it is a decision they made after much consideration together.

“After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared.”

DDG, however, confirmed that they are still intact, and they will coparent with ease

“Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other.

As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as. coparents, we cherish the bonds we’ve built and the moments we’ve shared. As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support. Thank you for your love and encouragement, DDG.” Their statement read:

Rapper and Halle Bailey went public with their relationship in January 2022. They welcomed a son, Halo, late in 2023 and announced his birth back in January.

The couple was swarmed with break-up rumors in April when DDG and Halle Bailey allegedly unfollowed each other on Instagram and took down some of the photos they had together.
