Dama wa Spares is receiving an outpouring of love from her family and friends, culminating in the unveiling of a billboard in her honour.

On Saturday, the successful businesswoman celebrated her birthday as her friends sang and danced around the newly erected billboard.

Dama looked stunning in an elegant white dress while posing for photos in front of the billboard.

Later, she hosted a lavish party attended by investors and notable celebrities, including Mugithi singer Samidoh, travel CEO Simon Kabu, MP Sabina Chege, MC Kajim, economic advisor Moses Kuria, and Pastor T Mwangi, among others.

"Choose people who choose you; you are not a backup plan," she wrote about her aspirations.

The party's colour theme was black and white, held at a five-star hotel in Nairobi. Damaris has been trending recently and addressed her supporters while expressing gratitude for the friends and employees who have stood by her.

"We praise God whether you are saved or not. Thank you so much for coming. Forget about those 10 percent negative comments. Nowadays, we don’t rely on negativity; we focus on positivity, right? I don’t care about negativity. Let’s focus on positivity and move forward," she stated.

Dama gained national attention last month following a feud with JCM Church lead pastors Muthee Ben Kiengei and his wife, Joy.

Dama was also the matron of the church and was known to be a significant financier of the Ruiru-based congregation.
