Kenyan content creator Kennedy Kabugi has addressed the misconceptions about his relationship with Sheryl Cherono Gabriella.

In a Q&A on his Insta stories, Kabugi has set the record straight noting that they are just workmates who happen to do couple content.

Kabugi dismissed claims that he harboured jealousy when Sheryl publicly introduced her boyfriend during her birthday celebration.

"I do not have a crush on my mama Seba," he asserted.

Instead, Kabugi took the opportunity to express his admiration for her unwavering dedication to her craft.

"She is an actress, singer, journalist, and still does all that unshaken. She is a perfect description of 'Bidii' (hard work). Why wouldn't you wish to do all that as a creative? Most creatives must be having a crush on her as well," Kabugi remarked.

Kabugi previously stated in an interview that he couldn't pursue a romantic relationship with Sheryl since doing so would damage their professional relationship and ultimately their jobs.
