MC Claudia Naisabwa has addressed the persistent rumours circulating about her alleged relationship with Rayvanny.

Three months ago, rumors began swirling after Claudia and Rayvanny were spotted together in the UK, where she was an MC at his London gig.

In a recent interview with Mungai Eve, Claudia clarified the situation. She stated that Rayvanny only has a baby mama and is not married. "Is he? Ameoa wapi?" she questioned. "Rayvanny and I are friends. It’s genuinely true that we have chemistry, so people might misinterpret that."

Addressing their apparent closeness in a music video, Claudia explained, "There’s nothing more. Sisemi in a bad way; take it with a pinch of salt.

We are entertainers; this is what we do for a living. When you see an actor kiss someone, will you call them out on that? That’s the nature of their job."

Adding, "Let’s correct this, he is not married. Is he? Ameoa wapi?" Eve laughed and prompted the audience, "Guys, tell us in the comment section, is Rayvanny married or not?" Claudia, 21, firmly stated, "No, we can actually Google it. He is not married. He has a baby mama, but he is not married."

Eve tried to clarify with a question, "I thought they got back together or something." Claudia responded, "Haya, wakafanya harusi? Walipelekana kanisani?"

Eve asked, "Do you mean he is not legally married?" Claudia answered, "I am just correcting that fact, so it doesn't seem like I know this is a married man and I'm doing something. No!"

Firmly refuting the widely asked question, she said, "We are entertainers; we are just working." Eve then asked, "But you have respect for his baby mama?" Claudia replied, "I have respect for him and his family, absolutely. We were just working. Even outside, you don't see that kind of engagement with us."

Claudia also mentioned that she and Rayvanny were spotted together in Kenya when they were nominated for different categories of an award. "So, we are friends, and we met at the event," she explained.

Regarding her love life, Claudia stated, "I am very single, and I am not interested in getting into any relationship at the moment.

My focus is on me and me alone for quite some time. It's quite sad that whenever they see a young successful lady, they want to pair her with someone.

If I were to get into a relationship, I wouldn’t publicly say I'm seeing this person because you stop being Claudia Naisabwa and start being called someone’s girlfriend."
