Bien: To shop without looking at the price, you must work without looking at the clock

Every now and then, our beloved celebrities share pearls of wisdom based on their personal success stories to inspire their devoted followers.

This time, former Sauti Sol band lead singer Bien Baraza has expressed his belief in what can lead to a financially blissful life without the frustration of affording basic needs every day.

Bien, in his Instagram stories, stated, "To shop without looking at the price, you must work without looking at the clock."

The singer stands out as one of the most successful musical artists in Kenya, mastering the business side of the music industry.

He has consistently emphasised how Kenyan musicians often falter due to a lack of understanding of the business aspects of the music industry.

While the singer frequently attributes his solo career success to his wife, Bien continues to elevate himself through his skills, establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in terms of originality and invaluable talent.

Just recently the tall musician sparked crazy reactions after sharing his Sh17,000 electricity bill from the Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC).

The Inauma hitmaker, Bien, expressed his frustration about the bill being high, especially considering it's only mid-month.

On Twitter, he remarked, "KPLC has given me my January bill mid-month, and it’s a whopping ksh17k!"

The singer's tweet generated diverse responses from his fans and followers.

Some individuals who commented empathized with his situation, revealing that they had experienced similar circumstances.

Many users suggested that he consider switching to solar energy to avoid the challenges associated with Kenya Power.

As is customary, Kenyans engaged in the comment section, sharing various 'ideas' and speculations about why the electricity bill might have reached such a high amount.

Coincidentally, just recently, media personality and journalist Anita Nderu found herself in a similar situation with an exorbitant electricity bill of Sh383,847.
