Alma Mutheu, a popular Kenyan TikToker and influencer, has publicly apologized to her ex-boyfriend, Gift, for previously criticizing him over financial matters in their relationship.
This incident occurred in December 2024 during an appearance on Obinna TV, when Alma openly expressed her frustrations about being the sole financial provider in their relationship.
She claimed that Gift was not contributing to household expenses, which led to a public debate and criticisms.

Alma acknowledged that her decision to air their private issues publicly was unwise and disrespectful.
” I would like to apologise because of the disrespect, because of the way it came out, like I really didn’t want it to come out like that. I was just tired,” she said.

The public apology has sparked discussions about the importance of communication and handling relationship issues privately.
While it’s unclear whether Alma and Gift have reconciled, the incident serves as a reminder of the impact of publicizing personal matters.
