Renowned Kenyan socialite Faith Makau, popularly known as Amber Ray, has spoken about her relationship with the father of her first child, Garvin.

In an interview with a local radio station, the mother of two revealed that she does not have a close relationship with her co-parent, and they rarely communicate.

However, she mentioned that the man, with whom she parted ways over a decade ago, maintains communication with their 13-year-old son.

"We don't talk, but he talks to the child. We don't raise the child together; I raise him alone, but they communicate," said Amber.

The socialite also made claims that her co-parent does not provide any financial support in raising their son.

"I've been raising the child alone since we separated, that was about ten years ago," she stated.

The mom of two proudly stated that she is blessed as she doesn't need any financial assistance from her co-parent to raise their child.

However, she revealed that in the past, after their separation, she went to court to seek financial support from her ex-partner because she was financially struggling.

"At that time, my family and I had no money at all. The difficulties were numerous. If you opened the wardrobe, you would cry just from the challenges. The challenges were too many," she said.

She further revealed that she had her first child when she was married to her former partner in Kahawa West more than a decade ago.

In the interview, the mother of two was also asked about why she did not have a child with the businessman Jimal Rohosafi.

In response, she explained that they tried to have a child together but unfortunately, she suffered a miscarriage.

"Yes, I was pregnant with him, but we lost the child. Later, the relationship couldn't continue, and it ended," said Amber Ray.

Currently, the socialite is married to wealthy businessman Kennedy Rapudo, and the couple has already been blessed with a child together.
