Kings Music boss, Alikiba, has once again stressed that there is no beef between him and his long-time rival, Diamond Platnumz.
Speaking to entertainment reporters, Alikiba said that there is no personal conflict or fight between him and Diamond, explaining that their competition is strictly professional.
He was responding to questions regarding his younger brother, Abdukiba, being seen growing closer to Diamond and his artists like Mbosso.
“Seeing Abdukiba and Mbosso together is nothing to be worried about, and it’s not something that needs my blessing. We have no battles. We just do our work, and when our work competes, that's where the challenge arises,” Alikiba clarified.
The artist revealed that he understands the recent closeness between Abdukiba of Kings Music and Mbosso from WCB Wasafi, saying that they have been friends for a long time, and there is no harm in them being friends.
“As far as I know about Abdukiba and Mbosso, they are friends. They’ve been friends for a long time, even before Mbosso was signed there. Regarding their work, I bless all my artists’ work. They just need to bring good work. It’s good work that will make me money too, and that’s what I desire,” Alikiba explained.
Without mentioning Diamond directly, Alikiba said that they do talk to each other, but they trick people on social media by pretending to be enemies who can’t get along.
“We actually talk to each other, or are we fooling you all too much? Is there something you don’t know?” he added.
