Kenyan actor and digital creator Alex Mathenge has lost his beloved father. The comedian shared that his father died on Tuesday after a short illness.

Alex Mathenge celebrated his dad Newton Wanjugu Mbuje as his teacher and his bist friend.

"Hello, friends and family! God always picks the best flowers in his garden. My Dad, My teacher, My Best friend breathed his last on Tuesday around 1:50pm after a short illness."

The deceased was a father a husband, a farmer, scholar and leader.

"As a family we choose to celebrate this great man, great husband, best dad, a great farmer, a scholar, and a great leader(Chairman) who has touched thousands of souls in his 62 years under the sun."

Alex Mathenge asked for prayers and comfort during this difficult time.
