Fans have been worried after an unidentified woman in an undated video on the streets was alleged to be Chebet.

Chebet, who has been missing on social media has in the past battled depression.

Things got bad for her after she was inducted into a supposed cult by her friends.

Taking to her socials' Njambi provided an update that sought to assure

"So we've been getting a lot of questions regarding Chebet. This is not her. Don't believe those fake bloggers trying to gain numbers by spreading false rumours. Chebet is Okay. Kindly let's give her and her family some peace of mind and privacy."

In 2024, Chebet took to Instagram to share that she had unknowingly been involved in opening spiritual portals.

Reflecting on her past choices, she expressed deep regret:

"Life has been moving too fast... I’m not sure if I’ll be okay by the end of the day, but I’ve found myself in a situation I can’t easily undo. Life is spiritual, and in my search for peace of mind, I think I connected with the wrong energies. To those I’ve hurt along the way, I’m truly sorry, and to those who have supported me, thank you. I made new friends who were on a completely different path, and I got involved in things I didn’t expect. I don’t think this will end well.

She further revealed that she had been pressured into silence and shared disturbing details about how she was initiated into a cult.

"The story I shared about being recorded was all spiritual... Someone wanted me out of town so I could go to Kericho and participate in activities I didn’t fully understand. For months, my mind felt clouded. It all started when I went to the hospital. My family and doctors thought I was hallucinating, but I had unknowingly tapped into the wrong spiritual realms due to an addiction I struggled with. They say marijuana isn’t harmless, but it’s crucial to have the right company and avoid isolating yourself. Also, be cautious about who you take photos with—many innocent people get drawn into spaces they don’t belong.”

"My mind was used to open a portal in Kericho... Some of you know I’ve been spiritually threatened and silenced. For those who are energetically sensitive, sometimes those voices are real.
