7 songs Nigerians think Diamond has copied from their own musicians

Diamond Platnumz and Alikiba are trending over their rivalry that has spurned several years. The two artists are releasing song after song and mocking each other over who is trending.

The WCB CEO in his latest collabo, has featured Juma Jux in a song called Enjoy. Diamond told audiences that he does not have to do many press tours, unlike others, to which fans took as a shot at Ali Kiba and Marioo Tz who have collaborated on the song, Sumu.

Nigerians seem to have entered the chat and shared a list of songs they claim Diamond Platnumz has copied from their own musicians.

Naturally, this has led to Tanzanians rallying around Diamond in an online beef. The claim that Diamond was inspired and thus copied Nigerians was first made by the Twitter account Unothordox Reviews, which excited Nigerians.

The list below;

@sforstunn There’s copying and there’s sampling. Wizkid sampled and here is what I mean, he cleared the song from VIP and makes sure they get their royalties from the song otherwise, VIP would be in their right to sue the shit out of him.But Diamond, just copys and switches the language.

@Wakwe_ There's nothing wrong with this or what Diamonds is doing really. Everyone in the industry does it, just that its usually on old songs and occasionally. When PSquare and Burna did it too frequently they got called out. Diamonds not only does it frequently, he does it too soon

@ChepiIdriss Diamonds has hundreds of songs then you highlight those and say copy cat? There's no new sound btw, my baby ft Chike was on YT trends in your country was it sampled?

Some of the songs you highlighted are not even hit songs out here and that man got hundreds of hits hundreds.
