Turning 30 is a big deal. It is such a milestone, of maturity and seeing things in a different way, its the beginning of knowing better. You’ve probably stumbled, loved wrong, trusted too much, stayed too long, or questioned everything and that’s okay- we all done did that.
Your twenties were for figuring it out. Now, here’s what you need to carry with you into the next chapter.
Everyone will probably have it their own way, but for me, these are the lessons I took with me, when I turned 30.

Your intuition is always right — even when it’s inconvenient. Trust it. It rarely lies, especially when it comes to relationships and people.
Be unapologetically yourself. Do you. Life is too short to live in pretense and pressure. This is your life — live it on your terms.
People who try to shrink you are almost never doing more than you. Let that sink in. Also why bother about them? Complete waste of time and energy.
Learn who you are without the titles, roles, or relationships. That’s your real worth. You are you, you are more than any label. Craft that and be you. Those things titles and roles come and go, but what stays, is you, the person
You can still burn out doing what you love. Rest is not a reward, it’s a necessity. Take time off, take those leave days and rest, chill.

Always clap for yourself. Be your biggest hype person. Be your biggest cheerleader leader, no matter how big or small the win is.
Don’t rush the process. You’re allowed to start over at any age, any time. There is really no time limit to do have done certain things in life. You still have a long way to go.

Boundaries are not rude. They are a form of self-respect. This will help you navigate relationships and people or else they will take advantage of you.

No is a complete sentence. You don’t owe anyone an explanation. FULL STOP. A NO, IS A NO.
You are allowed to evolve beyond someone’s expectations of you. Grow anyway.
Never settle when it comes to love. Wait as long as it takes to find the right person. Dont rush the process. Dont settle just because you are lonely or everyone seems to be in a relationship.
Just because we’re family doesn’t mean I have to keep you in my life. Peace over guilt. You can and will cut off family members who dont bring you peace.
