‘Just a season,’ Bien gives fans reassurance of Sauti Sol’s return

Sauti Sol’s Bien has extended a reassuring message to the band’s loyal fan base, promising that the current hiatus is temporary, and the renowned music group will soon reunite for another season of musical brilliance.

The ‘bald man’ spoke in Tanzania, while on a trip to promote his recently launched album, ‘Alusa why are you Topless’.

“Sauti Sol has currently taken a break. We will be back for a new season. This time I have come, and it is raining in Tanzania. The other time I came, it was sunny. Support my brothers in whatever they will be doing. I believe one day we will be doing music together again as a band,” shared Bien during the interview.

Dispelling concerns about any internal discord, Bien emphasized:

“Most times, when music groups go separate ways, it is usually bad blood, but we are still brothers and partners in so many things that we will be doing together. We are still together; just music, we are not doing together.”

In addition to promoting his latest album, Bien disclosed that he is in Tanzania to collaborate with Tanzanian hip-hop artist Joe Makini on a music video.

“I am here to express to them what was going through my mind when I wrote the album. I will be entertaining Tanzanians. The album is already trending on Twitter. I am so happy that my fans have shown support. I am also here to do a music video with Tanzanian hip-hop recording artist and composer Joe Makini that will be in his album.”

On a global note, Bien is set to be the third Kenyan artist to grace the ColorsXStudios series, following the acclaimed appearances of Lisa Oduor and Karun in recent weeks.

Spotify Africa anticipates another exceptional performance, stating:

“Time to welcome Bien for the third show from the Spotify x ColorsXStudios collaborative series! Are you ready for him to serve smooth sounds?”
