Dem wa Facebook recently attained one million TikTok followers and for that remains grateful to her fanbase for expanding.

She got the news that she had reached this milestone a few days ago.

"Sikujua ni congratulations ya nini. Nikasema nimefanya nini. Wacha mwingine anitumie screenshot! Weuh one

 A million followers. God is great" she shouted 

She has chosen to celebrate that milestone with Kibra girls, by donating sanitary pads in a new initiative.

Speaking to Kenya Online Media, where Dem Wa Facebook told of her special connection to them.

"Msichana heri umnyime nguo lakini umpatie sanitary towels. Juu tunajua ukinyesha na hauna pads, inakuwanga uncomfortable. Huwezi tembea, ndio hio harufu ya damu" 

That terrible discomfort girls face every month being broke and unable to buy pads is what has motivated her to share her success

"So sanitary towels are the best gift you can give girlchild"

A personal experience as well feeling humiliation in Primary school has pushed her to it.

"I used to cut pieces of a mattress, but it would leak and a boy asked me why my uniform is red. So that shame has also motivated me, and girls are so shy, she can even stand in the bathroom the whole day to let the blood drip, because of lack of sanitary towels" 

"I am happy because I have celebrated with the right people and at the right place."

She will eventually expand her sanitary drive.
