Two dead, three seriously injured after trucks collide on Southern Bypass
Two trucks collided on Nairobi’s Southern Bypass near Ole Sereni Hotel on July 23, 2024.
Two people died in an early Tuesday morning accident involving two trucks on Nairobi’s Southern Bypass near Ole Sereni Hotel.
In the 6:30 a.m. incident, police say the driver of an Isuzu FRR driving from Kikuyu lost control of the truck and collided head-on with an oncoming trailer.
“The two drivers died on the spot while the trailer caught fire and the driver burned beyond recognition,” National Police Service Spokesperson Resila Onyango said.
Three passengers aboard the two trucks were seriously injured, Onyango added.
