Thieves who broke into a wines and spirits shop have been taught a severe lesson.

A video of thieves forced to consume the alcohol they had stolen has raised all sorts of reactions from Netizens.

The video has been featured on multiple blogs and shows three men sitting on a sofa as they each old bottles of what appears to be whiskey

The video is supposedly from South Africa where the wine and spirits shop owner caught the trio stealing and rather than frog march them to the police, the thieves were forced to drink all the alcohol they had stolen.

Three crates of the beverage can be seen in front of them (see above) with netizens wondering how they will manage to drink everything.

In some of the videos doing rounds online, the hapless delinquents can be seen seated on a couch as their captors force them to drown bottle after bottle.

One of the thieves has bumps on his body, perhaps as a result of a beating from the robbery incident.

Two big men with whips stand in front of them ordering them to hurry up, as they threaten to whip them.

In the chaotic scene in the video, women are also heard shouting, as one of the shop proprietors opens up more bottles to pressure the thieves to swallow quickly. 

He forces one of the thieves to quickly sip from the bottle as he shows him the whips. The punishment appears to be too much for the thief blocking the whip from landing on him.
