Samsung Galaxy S25 Series is Kshs 85,000 cheaper than predecessor

Samsung Electronics has unveiled the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25, setting a new standard as a true AI companion with the most natural and context-aware mobile experiences ever created.
In Kenya, the Recommended Retail Price for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series are as follows;
- Samsung Galaxy S25 Base 8+128GB – Kshs 108,300
- Samsung Galaxy S25 Base 8+256GB – Kshs 116,200
- Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus 12+256GB – Kshs 132,000
- Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus 12+512GB – Kshs 147,800
- Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 12+256GB – Ksh 172,800
- Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 12+512GB – Ksh 188,400
You can pre-order any of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series between 23rd January to 16th February at any authorised Samsung stores and e-commerce partners across Kenya.
Why you should pre-order
Those who pre-order the Galaxy S25 Series will get double the storage at no extra cost. This means you will pay Ksh 172,800 for the Galaxy S25 Ultra 12+512GB or Kshs 132,000 for the Galaxy S25 Plus 12+512GB. Those opting for the Galaxy S25 Base 8+256GB will pay Kshs 108,300 if pre-ordering.
In addition, those buying the smartphones through LOOP will get a Kshs 5,000 cashback.
There is also a limited offer free Jambojet return ticket for those pre-ordering the Galaxy S25 Series.
The pricing of the Galaxy S25 Series is between 66,699 and Kshs 88,599 lower than the predecessor (Galaxy S24 Series) that were priced as follows during their launch a year ago:
- Samsung Galaxy S24 (8GB RAM +256GB storage) – Ksh 174,999
- Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus (12GB RAM +256GB storage) – Ksh 189,999
- Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus (12GB RAM +512GB storage) – Ksh 234,999
- Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (12GB RAM +256GB storage) – Ksh 274,999
- Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (12GB RAM +512GB storage) – Ksh 276,999

With a new 50MP ultrawide camera sensor upgraded from the previous 12MP, the Galaxy S25 Ultra provides exceptional clarity and vibrancy. This is in addition to the 200MP wide camera sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor.
On the other hand, both the Galaxy S25 plus and the Galaxy S25 Base features 50MP wide camera sensor, 12MP ultrawide sensor and 10MP telephoto sensor.
