President William Ruto has condemned violent protests being witnessed in the country.
The Head of State, who is on a tour of Nakuru County, reiterated that some unnamed foreign entities are behind the countrywide demos against his administration.
“I want to tell those bringing money to try to buy violence… that youths to indulge in violence in Kenya. We will stop these hooligans,” the President said.
He further urged the youth in Nakuru to shun violence, adding that his administration is keen on addressing joblessness.
“Please do not accept that our Country Kenya is a country of war and violence.”
Ruto also condemned the killings in Kware, pledging to ensure that those behind the deaths are brought to book.
Ruto led calls for peace, adding that the government will get to the bottom of the matter.
This comes as detectives identified 33-year-old Collins Jomaisi Khalisia as the man behind dismembered bodies found in Kware dumpsite, Embakasi South Constituency.
Ruto weighed in on the thorny issue that has sent shock waves in the country saying that all those behind the multiple deaths will be charged in court.
"Our female children have lost lives in Kware because of criminals. Those behind the criminal activity against our children, against our daughters in Kware; the Government of Kenya will make sure that they are brought to book," Ruto said.
