Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has allegedly been summoned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

According to a letter shared on his socials, Owino is alleged to have information that is vital in an investigation currently going on.

More summons

Credible reports have it that Babu is among three other members of Parliament who have been summoned by DCI.

Also, a former governor has been summoned over allegations of sponsoring chaos in ongoing anti-government protests.

The individuals have been summoned to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations headquarters for grilling on separate dates.

Police claim the individuals organized goons who raided shops and other premises to loot as Gen Z staged protests in the city.

They have denied the claims.
