Moi University Bans Mini Skirts, Hot Pants, Bra Revealing Dresses And Clothes With Obscene Writings

Moi University has moved to enforce a strict dress code, banning mini skirts and tumbo cuts among female students sparking uproar on social media.

The new dress code particularly prohibits micro mini skirts, skin-tight trousers, ragged or ripped jeans, cropped blouses or shirts, low-cut tops, micro shorts, transparent dresses, and any clothing that reveals bra straps.

The regulations also cover clothing with obscene writing, sagging trousers, and chest-revealing fashion.

These new regulations, aimed at preserving the institution’s standards of decency include the prohibition of crocs and all forms of plastic shoes within the university’s premises.

In a memo issued by the Dean of Students at Moi University, students were sternly warned about the consequences of violating these dress code rules.

The university has vowed to take disciplinary action against those who fail to comply.

The decision to implement these new dress code regulations came in response to a growing concern over incidents of indecent dressing among students, particularly girls.

“The university administration believes that enforcing these measures will contribute to a more respectable and focused academic environment but we don’t think that is the case,” one student said, “everyone has a right to dress the way they want.”

Students who choose not to adhere to these new rules will not only face disciplinary action but will also be denied services within the university premises.
