Kenya Kwanza is the majority party in the National Assembly, according to Speaker Moses Wetang'ula, and Azimio is the minority party.
The ruling was made by the Speaker after determining that Kenya Kwanza has 179 MPs to Azimio's 157.
As a result, Kenya Kwanza will be the majority leader, and Azimio will be the minority leader.
This means Azimio will have to formalize its leadership in the House.
As a majority party, the party had nominated its leaders.
