Johansen Oduor confirms Khalwale's farmhand was killed by the senator's fighting bull 'Inasio'

Chief government pathologist Johansen Oduor has strongly refuted rumours alleging that Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale was behind the death of his farmhand.

Addressing the press on Saturday, February 3, 2024, Khalwale revealed the autopsy results saying Kizito Moi Amukune was indeed gored to death by the senator's famous fighting bull 'Inasio'.

Announcing the results, the pathologist stated that the deceased suffered injuries on his forehead, neck and thighs and that the injuries looked as if they were caused by something resembling a horn.

Oduor further reiterated that, unlike the earlier rumours that the senator had a hand in his farmhand's demise, the deceased succumbed to his injuries from the bull.

"The autopsy was performed by local pathologist Dr Mchana, however, there were some complaints which led to us being called here to do a repeat. From my findings, the late Kizito had injuries, one injury was of the forehead on the right side, and the ulterior neck on the inner thigh of the left leg, looking at these injuries, they were penetrating and had features which included bruising around them and to look at them closely, they look like injuries which were caused by something penetrative but not very sharp, something a bit blunt, which is in-keeping with a horned animal," he stated.

From these findings we can conclude that indeed the initial autopsy was correct and it was caused by an animal rather than something which has stabbed the person like what was being alleged earlier," he stated.

Earlier, renowned Kakamega businessman Cleophas Shimanyula, alias Toto, claimed that Khalwale was involved in the death of his 47-year-old farmhand.

A section of netizens rode on the wave of rumours forcing the politician to speak up about it. At the time, Khalwale affirmed that he was opening up his home for officers to investigate and pursue the matter to a logical conclusion before the burial plans of Kizito continued.

Shortly after Oduor's confirmation today, Khalwale expressed gratitude to all pathologists and law enforcement officers for pursuing the matter to a conclusion.
