Jemimah Thiong'o's husband has passed away

Francis Thiong'o, husband to gospel singer Jemimah Thiong'o is dead. He breathed his last on Sunday morning, July 21st 2024.

There was an arranged concert dubbed the love concert that was supposed to happen in August to help with the hospital bill.

Francis had been in the ICU for the last one month. The family had been strained as the bill continued to accrue. Before his death, the family was looking to raise about Ksh 5 million.

Explaining how her husband ended up in the ICU, Jemimah said that her husband walked in the hospital for a small procedure.

"It became a big issue because he developed complications. He has been in hopsital for close to three months,We've had two fundraisers from family and friends which amounted to Ksh 2.7 Million and we have a deficit of Ksh 3 million."

Adding "We are appealing to you to help clear the hospital bill."
