Homabay: Man accused of defiling a 16-year-old girl arraigned in court
A man has been arraigned in Homa Bay Court for allegedly defiling a 16-year-old girl in Gogo Katuma village, Homa Bay County.
Dickson Okeyo Nyanjwa was arraigned before Homa Bay Chief Magistrate Charles Mutai for defiling the minor contrary to Sexual Offences Act 2006.
The court heard that Nyajwa lured the girl to his house last Saturday, where he defiled her.
However, Nyanjwa denied defiling the girl who is a Form Two at a secondary school in the Homa Bay Sub-County.
Magistrate Mutai ruled that Nyanjwa could be released on a bond of Ksh.200,000
The case will be heard on September 23, 2024.
